Qualifications & Skills:

Educational Qualifications: A Post Graduate qualification in Business Administration or a professional qualification in the field of public relations/ marketing communication or advertising.

Experience: Minimum of one to two years of experience in public relations or communication after post-graduation or two to three years’ experience after graduation.

Skills: S/he must be able to evaluate and edit the work of an assistant account executive and interns. S/he must have an intricate level of understanding of the account, its business, products, markets, personnel, outside influencers, etc. S/he must also have a solid grasp of all basic public relations tools, and how they affect the client. The account executive must also have solid research, writing and editing skills, and the ability to continue developing media contacts/relationships. S/he is expected to have a fundamental understanding of media outreach assignments and apply experience and initiative in developing appropriate media strategies.

Description

•Produce creative concepts and deliver creative ideas across all platforms for briefs and new business pitches
•Establish art direction, style, and tone of digital concepts and/or communications
•Ensure materials are clear, concise and persuasive to help bring the program strategy to life
•Work closely with the design and copywriting teams, internal account teams and external clients to participate in all stages of the creative process, from brainstorming to conceptual development
•Manage production processes and archiving for projects
•Help communicate creative ideas in presentations to clients
•Understand the concept behind creative work and how it achieves client and business goals
•Stay on top of trends through business/industry monitoring and outside resources (e.g., research bodies, academics, industry gurus)
•At least three years of relevant experience, preferably in an agency setting
•A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Fine Arts, Advertising or Graphic Design preferred
•Experience in an agency environment such as: marketing, advertising or PR
•Strong portfolio with demonstrated examples working across multiple channels including web, mobile, social and experiential
•Clear understanding of the creative process and deliver projects on time and budget while answering the client brief
•Ability to work cross-functionally and with a fast-paced team
•Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
•Ability to own projects, demonstrate good judgement when working with team members and client contacts, and take initiative
•Experience managing day-to-day changes at every level of detail

• Understand target audience to translate copy and design into compelling creative
• Produce written materials in a variety of formats, including print collateral (press materials, brochures), Web and interactive content, speeches and other thought leadership pieces, taking into account responses from the target community
• Proofread written work and online content
• Juggle multiple assignments and work in a high-pressure environment
• Manage time and establish priorities while maintaining flexibility to respond to changing demands
• Professionally and effectively communicate with clients, peers and producers, demonstrating sound reasoning and judgment skills
• Help communicate creative ideas in presentations to clients

Qualifications

• At least three years of relevant experience, preferably in an agency setting.
• A bachelor’s degree, preferably in English or related major
• Excellent writing and editing skills with demonstrated experience in conceptual writing in marketing or advertising, Web, product, brand messaging and promotional copy
• Experience in an agency environment working with marketing, advertising or PR campaigns, including TV, print and social media preferred
• Ability to think strategically and conceptualize creatively
• Strong presentation and verbal communication skills
• Experience working on new business presentations and preparing creative themes and taglines
• Ability to work cross-functionally and with a fast-paced team
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Ability to own projects, demonstrate good judgment when working with team members and client contacts, and take initiative
